I used my card to make a purchase around 6:30pm, next day I checked my balance and I had $2,300.00 less in my account, then I called my bank and they told me that I had withdrawed the money in a BANORTE ATM which I never did...

Note - The last time I used my card in an ATM was in Santander in Chapala

Update: We did use lose the ATM card at Walmart several weeks before the ATM fraud and we immediately cancelled it. But we are wondering if the thieves just lay low for a while and waited because they apparently had the number. Several weeks later, after Jose was using a new and different card (but tied to the same account, we thought everything was okay) was when my husband noticed a strange withdrawal of $6,000 pesos from an ATM and he was suspicious because it was X's pattern is to take out just $5,000 per week, which is what he needs to run my mother's household. My husband moved everything out of that account electronically that morning, and then called the bank right away and they said there had also been multiple balance inquiries that morning also from Guadalajara. They of course completely cancelled the card at that point.
