An antique (1886) dinner bell over the front gate was stolen, approximately 14" brass.
124 year old brass bell? The value is in the antiquity having probably been over the arch for over 50 years - and before?

The bell weighs approximately 30kilos, no idea how they managed to get it down from the alcove over the front gate. When the arch was rebuilt in '09 it took 2 guys to put it in place. |
